Challenge

The client wanted to improve user accessibility by extending their contractor hiring app to in-car environments and Siri voice control. The goal was to allow users to create, manage, and communicate about tasks hands-free while driving, ensuring safety and convenience.

Cooperation

We developed an in-car module and Siri integration for an existing application that enables users to find and hire contractors for various tasks. The app already supported task creation, contractor offers, payment booking, and an in-app chat system. Our goal was to adapt these features for seamless and safe in-car use via the vehicle's infotainment system and voice commands through Siri.

Key Features and Capabilities

• Task Creation via Siri and In-Car Interface – Users can create tasks using voice commands, selecting a category, setting a title, providing a description, and publishing it hands-free.
• Task List and Details View – The in-car system allows users to see their published tasks, track their status, and view contractor responses.
• Offer Management – Users can browse contractor offers, view details and profiles, and accept or decline offers.
• Voice Chat through Siri – Siri reads out new messages from contractors, enabling users to record and send responses hands-free.
• In-Car Notifications – Push notifications alert users to new messages, offers, and key events, with interaction options via Siri.
• Deep Integration with App Communication System – Implemented push notifications and voice-based messaging to facilitate convenient in-car interactions.

• Designed a user-friendly in-car interface with intuitive navigation and interaction.
