Customer

The customer is a company that provides secure cloud-based mobile commerce and digital marketing solutions. 

Challenge

The customer came to Geek-Solutions with a working prototype of their mobile product: simple iOS and Android versions of the mobile application which enable paying for fuel and other products at gas stations. However, the UI design was primitive and non-user friendly; the UX design was also poorly developed. Further, the admin area had limited functionality. 

Cooperation

Our engineers started with the development of the admin section (management system). They created a more responsive design and added new functionality.

We also developed a cool user-friendly interface for iOS and Android versions of the mobile application. The UX design was significantly revised. Many ideas for its optimization and improvement came from our side.

Much effort was carried out for the convenient location of gas stations on the map (their clustering). All this was done separately for each platform (iOS, Android).

Thanks to the efforts and competencies of Geek-Solutions, the application turned out to be flexible and easily customizable for various business needs of end customers.

The application is white-label and can be branded for each customer.

Interesting and complex integrations were implemented within this mobile project. The app has integrations with such payment systems as WorldPay, BIM, Visa, Mastercard, and many others. This allowed users to make payments through the accounts of various banks. In turn, thanks to this development, the customer was able to reach a wider audience, providing users with even more flexibility in payment.

Currently, the app has a wide range of functionality which enables users to cover the following activities:

  • Find the nearest gas station and monitor gas prices
  • Carry out fast and secure mobile payments
  • Enter the online store and make a purchase through easy-to-deploy digital offers
  • Place an order and prepay for food and drinks at quick service restaurants from a mobile device
  • Carry out in-store payments thanks to mobile integration with mPOS
Results

The customer was extremely pleased with Geek-Solutions and gave us the opportunity to build up a team so we could further improve the system and develop its components (iOS / Android versions of the application, back-end, and management system).

From 2 people, the project team has grown to 50 technical specialists in 5 years. 

During this time of collaboration, our team has significantly improved the application (Android and iOS versions) by introducing new functionality and releasing several updated versions. We are managing practically every direction such as development, testing, white-label customization, support, and IT consulting.
