Customer

The customer is an accounting outsourcing firm dedicated to serving founder-run small- and medium-sized businesses. By leveraging cloud and collaborative technologies, the customer ensures transparency and efficiency in outsourced accounting services.

Challenge

The customer needed an automated solution to streamline the process of sending financial reports to QuickBooks (QB). The existing project, developed by another team, did not fully meet their needs, requiring a complete rewrite for better performance and maintainability. The system also needed to support recurring task creation to ensure consistent report submissions.

Cooperation

Initially, we reviewed the existing project but determined that a full rewrite was necessary to meet the client’s requirements effectively. We developed a new integration from scratch using NodeJS (Nest.js) for the backend and React for the frontend. This solution allowed users to send their reports seamlessly to QuickBooks and set up recurring tasks for automation.

Results

We successfully implemented a robust QuickBooks integration, enhancing financial report management. We improved automation by enabling users to schedule recurring tasks, reducing manual effort.
